Sneaky Beast
Together we have over ten years of experience facilitating community-focused creative encounters for events and organisations across the UK and online.
We believe that getting people together, encouraging them to make and play is an integral part of promoting community, improving wellbeing and making new connections. This is why a sense of fun and wonder is central to our practice and why our favourite projects are always those where we have to think of all ages and abilities.
Our Story
When we started Sneaky Beast we wanted to combine our vast and diverse experience to create public-facing experiences that take art out of galleries and get communities involved in creating. Providing a nurturing space to foster a ‘togetherness’ that can be missing in our often-isolating world.
Meet The Team
Haddi Conant
Haddi is an emerging creative whose energy and enthusiasm drives his practice. With a background in leading and mentoring young people, Haddi is passionate about helping communities create and come together. He has previously worked for the National Citizens Service as a team leader, enabling young people in both an outdoor education and creative setting.
As an autistic person, making time for art helps him feel happy and content. He hopes to help others find space for art in their lives and discover the calm bubble of excitement workingon a creative project of any sorts can bring. His passion and warmth comes through in everything he does.
He has also produced creative content for a variety of organisations, including Girl Skate UK, Three Weeks Magazine and Exeter Phoenix.
Raff Highgate-Betts
Raff is a passionate and imaginative artist, who strives to create work that offers a new way of looking at the familiar.
Working in a range of mediums, Raff has been commissioned by many organisations The BFI, Doc Next Media, Exeter Phoenix, Strive Festival and JOLT International Theatre Festival. With his short film, performance and visual pieces being shown throughout the UK and internationally.
